Originally born on the island of Jamaica, Netrit Nu Akhu (formerly known as Chekereha Campbell) migrated as a teen with her sibling to Brooklyn NYC in 2017. Her mother, who resided in the States, had advocated for her and her sister to live in the US with the rest of their family. Like many diasporian, she had to adapt to the American lifestyle very quickly. After graduating from Far Rockaway H.S. formerly known as Beach Channel H.S. Netrit Nu Akhu joined the United States Airforce and then the United States Army some years later. Throughout her military experience, she realized that her way of life needed to change, mentally, spiritually and physically, which sparked her lifelong journey now as a Kametic Healer and artist. Throughout her years in the military and as a parent to 2 beautiful children, it was very apparent that there was a growing passion for teaching others alternative healing, and self-realization. The inspiration came after a very rude spiritual awakening that impacted her life tremendously. This profound experience affected how she cared for people, especially the ones closest to her heart. What propelled her to alternative healing was the unfortunate hysterectomy she needed after living with uterine fibroids after years of a lifestyle that wasn't conducive to health. Like many women in the world today this sentiment is too real. This life-changing event came with an epiphany. Netrit knew that it was vital not only to her well-being, but that of her own children to educate themselves on natural healing remedies, and preventative healthcare. Prior to getting her certification as a qigong instructor, the universe brought the knowledge of RA Qigong and the Kemetic lifestyle through her confidant Aungkhtu NeteRa from the Ausar Auset society. This knowledge was the gateway to a healthier way of life.
